Radon Testing
Inspections
Radon is a natural gas formed beneath the earth’s crust. The gas is a byproduct of uranium that is created as uranium decays into lead. While radon is a natural gas that is found in every state in America, it can also be very deadly. Radon is tasteless, odorless, and invisible, making it very difficult to be aware of. This natural gas is often pulled from the earth into homes by the differences in air pressure. Radon can enter a home through cracks in the ground floor, cracks in the walls, through the water supply, and by many other methods. When there is a significant enough amount of radon present in a home, anyone inside is at a greater risk of developing cancer. Radon is classified as a class-one carcinogen, which is a proven cancer-causing agent. Because radon is impossible to see or smell, it poses a significant health risk that many Americans may not be aware of. Radon contributes to thousands of deaths in America every year.
